When?
The show is held annually on the first Saturday in August.
Dates for the next 2 years are:
Saturday 5th August 2023

Why?
The principal objective of the Society is to encourage improvement in the breeding of stock.
The show gives the local farmers a chance to display their best stock to the public and to other farmers. Our local farmers take a lot of pride in the animals that they have and will spend days and weeks preparing these animals for the show ring.
It is also a great social event where everyone in the agricultural community can meet up and have a good catch up about the past year and months coming ahead.
Who?
Anyone*! If you have sheep, cattle or home industry produce and you want to show them off then you can enter! Head over to the Livestock Entry Form section to enter.
*Exhibitors of Blackface Sheep are restricted to the County of Argyll, Island of Bute and Parishes of Kilmallie and Kilmonivaig.
The show is open for all members of the public to attend and is a fantastic day out for the kids with lots of things to see and do!
